Hands PhotoAt UFE, we believe that concentrated wealth and power undermine the economy, corrupt democracy, deepen the racial divide, and tear communities apart. We support and help build social movements for greater equality.

Today, the gap between rich and poor in the US is at its greatest divide since 1929, the year the financial markets crashed and gave rise to the Great Depression of the 1930s. At that time, 25% of the population was out of work.

Closing today's growing economic divide is UFE's main objective.

UFE has created a number of workshops to help people understand how economic inequality effects all of us, and what we can do about it.
